Translation in English:

Discrimination is treating people differently. The movie “Secret Superstar” (Secret Superstar) shows the discrimination between men and women. In India, the status of women is very low. It is no exaggeration to say that they are accessories to men

Score: 1

Comment:

Only discrimination is explained. There is no mention of the other two concepts. Nor does it state the difference between them

Post-test

Original text:

Translation in English:

A stereotype is a fixed attitude toward a group of people, for example, “All the people in Shanxi Province are rich.” In this way, personal characteristics are unfairly generalized to characterize all the people in a group

Prejudice is considered a view of a person, group, or region that is one-sided. For example, “Women cannot be leaders.” People are seen only in terms of their shortcomings

Discrimination is putting prejudice into action. For example, when getting a job, one company wants only men but not women

Score: 6
