  1. The Chinese English Proficiency Scale is divided into nine levels from low to high. The study focused on levels four through eight of the scale
  2. TOEFL test scores are reported separately according to reading, listening, speaking, and writing, and the score range of each section is 0–30 points, and the total score is 0–120 points
  3. The Table presents the critical scores of the relevant grades of each section of the TOEFL test and the total score corresponding to the scale. Example: If the TOEFL reading score is 7 points, it will reach the scale level 4; If you get 13 points for reading, you will reach the level of level 5 of the scale; If you score 12 points, you are still at the scale level four
  4. Because the total score of the TOEFL is the sum of the grades of each part, the critical score of the total score in this corresponding Table is the sum of the critical scores of each part
